So I've been reading this book called Prayer: 30 Ways to Use It....and i read a pretty darn cool chapter ("way" 11 of 30) today...thought i would share =] First off...it gave a REALLY cool Bible verse to kick off the chapter: Don't worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food and the body more than clothing? Matthew 6:25 .............thought that was awesome! Then it makes a few good points: * "Worry does not empty tomorrow of its sorrow; it empties today of its strength" - Corrie ten Boom * "As God's children, we are the recipients of lavish love - a love that motivates us to keep trusting even when we have no idea what God is doing" - Beth Moore * Categorize your worries! Two categories: things you CAN control and things you have NO control over. Once you do that, resolve the things you CAN control and let God handle the rest =] SOOOOOOOOOO thought that was cool...and i'm sure there are more to come after i read the rest of the book! ~Mandy

That is some awesome stuff. Worry...drains us. I wonder if worry shows that we have a lack of trust in God? Or maybe we worry that God won't do things OUR way. I think when I worry it usually comes when I am feeling lack of control..or when I am afraid of failing...so the last suggestion makes a lot of sense.
