Do you guys know the difference between hope and faith? I thought I did. I thought I had faith in God and Jesus. I also had faith the Cowboys would make it into the Superbowl. So that was where I got confused, I didn’t know it at the time but I was not thinking in God’s word. So I looked it up, I found in Hebrews 11:1 Faith is being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Wow, that kind of spoke to me, because I lost my Grandfather last year. I knew this man, my Dad’s Dad, was strong in his faith, he was always praying and talking to God. I asked him one day “Grandpa, how do you know you’re going to Heaven?” “Eddie I know because I have Faith.” A somewhat simple answer but it was the way he said it, he really BELIEVED he was going to Heaven. I used to say “I hope I see you in Heaven,” like I hope the Rangers do well this year or I hope I do well on a math test. I think the difference is in the Belief. If you believe, truly believe with all your heart. This is Faith, and Faith is stronger than hope.
